Alycia Steinberg  (M.P.H., University of Michigan) has worked in health policy for two decades, with expertise in the intersection of delivery system design and program operations. Alycia has supported the launch of several payment reform programs designed to align providers across the care continuum and promote population health. Alycia has provided policy development and technical writing support to many of Maryland’s most recent health care transformation efforts, including TCOC Model descriptions, progression plans, and Maryland’s AHEAD Model application. She currently supports Maryland’s AHEAD Model implementation. As Maryland Medicaid’s deputy director of planning, Alycia gained experience in the design, administration, and evaluation of Medicaid programs. She has consulted with Medicaid programs across the nation to shift financing toward upstream prevention and foster collaboration across the health and human services sectors.

 

Alycia has been a featured speaker by White House, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and the House Speaker regarding the effects of the Affordable Care Act on families and children. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of California San Diego.
