Michelle Nnorom brings the unique perspective of a practicing Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC). Michelle has spent over 20 years in the behavioral health/public health and non-profit space. Through her work with Burton Policy, Michelle is a Project Director for CRISP, building the SDOH suite of tools and interoperability including connecting skilled nursing facilities with CRISP. Michelle is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) and has a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. Michelle serves on the advisory committee for Care Coordination Implementation for Baltimore City which includes using insights from their community needs assessment to improve social needs. Prior to joining Burton Policy, Michelle was an Executive Consultant/Senior Project Manager for Kaiser Permanente Mid-Atlantic where she managed NCQA (National Committee for Quality Assurance) accreditation for behavioral health measures as well as the entire portfolio for the Health Equity Accreditation. This included qualitative and quantitative analysis, and stratification of quality measures by race/ethnicity and language. Previously, she was a director at multiple outpatient mental health organizations in Maryland and Anne Arundel County, focusing on risk mitigation, accreditation, process improvement, clinical education, and training and quality improvement. As a behavioral health director, she stood up and expanded programs supported by multiple funding sources including Intensive Outpatient Programs, Suboxone Clinic, and Outpatient Psychotherapy.As a LCPC, Michelle currently operates a private practice serving Maryland, Virginia, and DC. Michelle has a Master of Science in Human Services with a concentration in Mental Health and Substance Abuse Counseling from Bellevue University and is a graduate of Briar Cliff University.
